Ironically Sleep Deprived

Tonight, I was having major trouble with my asthma, and I couldn't get enough air into my lungs to do much without getting exhausted. I figured that I would at least be able to have a decent night's sleep due to the oxygen deprivation making me sleepy. Turns out I was wrong. I wasn't able to get comfortable or settle down, so instead of peacefully having sleep overtake me that night, I spent the entire night not only wide awake, but also unable to take a single full breath. It's funny how the asthma couldn't even grant me the one courtesy to help me fall asleep.
